It’s time for Slowtember Days 7-9: Areca Palm! This time I drew a tropical dragon with brilliant feathers and iridescent fur. The palm itself was SO scary to do, but I somehow pulled it off! This entire pic was a leap of faith as it’s way more complex than my normal stuff, but I’m very happy with how it came out. I’m especially fond of the colored fineliner I used to scratch in some shading - that was my solution for not having the correct markers to do so!
