The only thing that i can think of that might need changing/fixing, would be the hand that's sitting on the ground. I dunno about you, but i can't turn my arm around like that unless it's broken XD

As for the shading style. I say go with the soft shading :3

The hand on our left (her right) looks like it's missing its thumb the way it is now. It wouldn't bend back with the other fingers, instead, it would sit at more of an angle to them.

A good trick I like to use for positioning and angling body parts is to try and emulate the pose of the picture. If it feels uncomfortable when you do it, there's a good chance it'll look strange in the picture.

I do know how the hand should be possitioned and I do use my own body or someone else's when I have trouble ><

There is something about drawing the hand in this certain possition where it's much easier for me to look at a hand and draw it, it's why I wanted someone to redline it. It's more difficult to find something accurate by browsing photos online.

I think the main thing is that the hands and feet are too small. I think it otherwise looks fine. Don't fret yourself too much. =(

I have trouble making hands big enough, especially with her holding that popsicle. You think the feet are too small too? I kinda thought it gave a nice, delicate look.

I'm not fretting really, I'm having a lot of fun. It's rare I have time to try super hard on a pic, get people to help me out, etc. I usually just do easy stuff in one go, which is fun too, I just do it a lot.

The hand should be the same size as the face when spread open. Good rule of thumb. I was passed that bit of advice when I was your age and now I pass it onto you. =P

Actually, I learned that pretty recently, but have always had trouble doing it for some reason. Works sometimes. The worst is when I'm making the person hold something.

Also the feet do look small but it kind of looks perspectivy so... maybe leave them alone.

Boasting no artistic skills whatsoever and yet again trying it out with my hand, I think that your are making the wrist too thick compared to the hand. My wrist doesn't get thicker unless you are directly facing the inner part of the wrist, and it barely gets thicker. on a side not, having your fingers curled up makes it feel better on your hands

I actually think the other hand looks pretty okay but the wrist in the hand with the popcicle is nonexistant. The hand is coming out of the forearm :o

aww how cute hehe. And to me, the lower hand looks fine, the other hand, the one holding the Popsicle looks off, to me the wrist seems a bit too thick, maybe thin it up abit and it'll look better. Other than that I think it looks great ^^

ahh, see, I thought the hand was curled the other way, but no that hand is fine, looks quite natural.

I posted my redline in the scraps, the tail is up too high to come from the base of the spine, comes from the middle of her back.

the tail emerges from the 13th vertebre instead of continues from the end of the spine, yes the tail itself looks nice, but it it still looks too high:<

But I am looking at her from 36o right so I may not see how the tail is lifting before floofing.

yes, the person would not be able to hold that pose long unless they curled the upper shoulder a little.
