Commentary:
Another page that was delayed due to background troubles. Trying out a new thing where I do basic silhouettes to make it look like a busy market place w/o making it too cluttered on the eyes. I know I said i wanted to do more detailed backgrounds, but that's really not necessary all the time and I need to do what I can to make the page look good w/o being empty.

Another thing that got me hung up was what I wanted Elah and Kuro to be doing during their exposition in the middle of a festival. Did some research for ancient festivals and some partake in friendly sparring. So that's what they're watching, as any other part of this chapter that I have planned wouldn't have room for that kind of event. Oh yeah this is the first time I've actually drawn Elah not in her police armor.

Panel 5 is meant to suggest that both Dokan and Kuro both completely unaware that it was his own wife that saved him. I'll let you take that how you will.
