Good morning citizens, Talia Newton in with the morning report.

Once again things seem to be quieting down on the war front. Strategic Command reports that they managed to repel several attacks by both rebel and Imperial forces in to our territory as well securing the final part of the Hive defense line. In space the 8th fleet managed to force back a major assault aimed at the lunar base on Clarissant.

With the defense line drawn and the pass now closed, the governor is finally looking at internal issues with the hive. Refugee traffic has almost doubled the population of the hive and until the threat to the planet can be contained, plans to rebuild the destroyed cities is on hold for the most part. Romours from the spire is that Governor Vartitar has been in talks with a representative of the Gallayan Rifles to help rebuild Rashne City before the end of the war. However resources are starting to wane and the rationing that begun two months ago might have to tightened. Vartitar has placed a request for additional supplies from off-world but with the Imperial fleet still at large those incoming supplies are still in danger.

As we near the end of the year, please keep heart that our soldiers are working t bring this war to a conclusion and frhis one was shoree our planet and it’s people from attack.
