Not a fan of big guns like those, or any sort of automatic or assault weapon. They're too hard to conceal, for one thing! And if you're a good enough shot, you shouldn't need more than a dozen bullets!

Speaking of concealed, I'm carrying my 44 magnum revolver with the 10 inch barrel in all thses photos. Can't see it, can ya? Uncle Mike makes good holsters.

Does the Spectre magazine really hold 50 rounds? It doesn't look big enough to me in the pictures I've seen and I have to wonder if the source I read about them on wasn't a typo about the capacity.

That magazine pictured is a 30 rounder. I have a new unused 50 round mag in the wrap. It's nye on impossible to get more than 20 cartridges loaded in the 30 rounder unless you have the loading tool. I have one on order.

Never realy trusted jennings because in high operation the spring tends to fail or it jams......

I have a complete Jennings I'd be happy to sell. Problem is that the whole interstate thing will eat up the price of the weapon.

Last time I fired it many many moons ago, it fired successfully but would jam on every shot - couldn't eject the casing far enough. I've heard that there is +p ammo that works in it much better.

I had a couple Jennings before. I had to completely disassemble them both and soak them in carburator cleaner to get the cosmoline out. After that, they worked fine. Still didn't keep them long.

The pain with a Maxim is hand-loading those fabric belts. It takes for-freakin-ever. Finding (or making) the belts isn't any fun, either. Then again, assembling Ma Deuce and M60 link belts isn't any fun, either. Shooting them sure is, though.

Man, I'd love to do a shooting trip like this some day. If not for the fact that you're insane and live in freaking Arizona I might consider trying to attend one.

Okay, there are alot of reasons I don't, like the most pressing being I don't know any of y'all and it'd be the height of rudeness to just show up. Also, I sadly own no guns of my own, so there'd be alot of standing around doing not much of anything on my part which would suck. But I still hate hot weather, so I'm not going to Arizona any time... ever anyway.

But the shooting trips look like an absolute blast! (No pun intended)
