Another Lunakan boat design I thought up which is a mix between a European ship and a Chinese junk. In the background is the city of Kenaku, Lunaku's largest city. Its size is between the size of New York and Hong Kong. I tried to do a modern ship in the middle ground to show contrast but it didn't come out that great.
Anyway, this is a widely used fishing boat design in Lunaku. They continue to use these ancient boats because they're not as hard on the environment as boats with large diesel engines. However, that doesn't mean nothing has changed about them. Today they are equipped with modern radar and radios. These days there's even a tax credit that practically makes up for the increased cost of running these boats. These boats are also a tourist draw and some even offer tours around the harbour.
