The 2nd work I got from the talented artist https://twitter.com/cricketbat_
Despite the reference having Zach be digitigrade the artist drew him plantigrade and, hindsight 2020, I shoulded of heeded the design flaw warning and chosen to go with plantigrade lol
But it is what it is, teachable moment. This too is posted on my wall, in fact I'm looking at it right now. Eeeeeee
I've been pondering what Zach's martial arts style actually is. MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) is a broad term used to cover the blend of different fighting techniques, schools, and styles. So really, MMA can mean anything that's used for hand to hand combat.
But if I was to get into the nitty gritty specifics, the first few pages I have Zach describe his childhood background in boxing, kickboxing, and wrestling but through the first book he has a very tae kwon doe flavor along with judo, and jiu-jitsu.
On 2nd thought, maybe MMA IS the term to describe his fighting style, just with acrobatic flaire and pizzazz lol
