Considering how limited of a character palette I have here, I may as well branch out with some more.
No one is quite sure where Hadewide (hah-duh-vih-de or hah-duh-veed) came from; even the tauric demigryph herself won't admit to anything. Regardless, her knightly demeanor and combat prowess with a dueling halberd was enough to win over her eccentric employer and the city militia, much to the consternation of other local lords and clergymen who see her as a mutant abomination. The local taverns barely tolerate her presence as well, although they will sheepishly admit that the amount she pays for her ogre-like gluttony and ale intake when not on duty easily offsets the cost of damages from her resulting rowdiness with their clientelle.
