After watching a few episodes of Sonic Boom, particularly the Sonic and Tails based ones, I felt like making some sort of scene with Samuel and his Uncle Tails, hence this redraw~

I tried, and failed, yet again, to make young characters look older ;w; I was aiming to make Tails a few years older than he is in the show, since Samuel is around 12 years old here x3;

When Samuel was a child, he pretty much wanted to be like his father when he grew up. However, once he found out about his Uncle Tails' inventing abilities, he became more interested in it and became somewhat of a 'nerdy' type.
