Zach Cooner's original reference sheet made in August 2017.
Originally Zach didn't have pupils as I was going for the look of 80's superhero comics (notably Jason Todd as Robin https://i1.wp.com/www.comicsbeat.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Batman-368-Cover.jpg ) but it wasn't well-recieved and I changed him to have them.
From this point Zach was always going to be the small, quick, and agile archetype, using his skills as a martial artist and intelligence to overcome foes, but he's in a world of awfully heavy hitters and OP antagonists lol.
I still really like the look of this ref sheet even though it's now outdated. I think moving forward though I'll be switching him to a plantigraded stance (so the martial arts and movement sequences are less awkward).
Don't forget, you can read the 190 page graphic novel free over at www.zachcooner.com
Hope you all enjoy!
