Summer Coils
[pleeeeease let us have hypnosis/mind control as a theme! gawd! Most of my art includes it but specifically *just* hypnosis most of the time XD If the argument is that oftentimes there are other kinks involved, firstly, that's just not always the case, and secondly, then just let us select multiple themes!!!]
Commission for Lucky-Ray
After a few different scrapped ideas we settled on their pony Summer Ray being coiled up in the squeezy embrace of a snake.
There was going to be some more to this but I gots other commissions to be doing and had a lot of colouring and shading to do so I just focused on doing this as best I could X3
Very happy with the result.
Anika gets around~ Always finds a lovely pony to squish in her lovely squeezy snug coils.
Here are some additional versions including without the tongue and without the white outline etc. [Sta.sh link]

I have always found it weird that hypnosis isn't a theme option, but I imagine its secondary nature is part of it. It's usually used as more of a means to an end, rather than being done strictly for the sake of hypnosis, and so they probably just figure that anything involving hypnosis should instead be categorized under the theme that the hypnosis is being used to achieve.
Even in this case, one could claim that it's a bondage pic where the bondage is achieved by way of hypnosis, and therefore bondage should be the theme instead.

I know it's really annoying. was just saying to someone else that I honestly don't enjoy hypnosis pics, comics, stories etc as just being a means to sex or something. In conjunction with other themes it can be really fun, but even then, the hypnosis has an equal part to the other stuff for me. I hate it just being swept away to the side as just a gimmick.
But this is why I want multiple theme selection cus it's easily imaginable that a picture can include multiple aspects and it'd be beneficial for catigorisation to be able to include a single image under multiple themes.
As for that last part, I consider it but I really don't like thinking of snake coiling and bondage being the same thing. Even if it shares very similar aspects, I think of them as different things.

I would say that snake coiling would be considered as a subcategory to bondage, since by definition bondage is simply the act of restricting one's ability to move. The main difference being that the instigator is using their body to achieve it, rather than utilizing tools.
Not saying that to say you're wrong to any capacity. Just stating how I believe it would be perceived when it comes to proposing how certain types of content would fit into themes or categories.

Especially since that leaves the outcome up to interpretation. Take this scene, for example. In one person's eyes, the pony may be the snake's lunch. To somebody else, they'll be trained into a mindless, obedient pet. Then still it could just be harmless fun between two consenting individuals. If the theme is set to something like vore though, then that personal interpretation is lost, and the intent is set in stone rather than being open-ended enough for each viewer to draw their own conclusion.
