Not bad. :)
As you know, I'm probably Schnuffel's biggest fan in America (I know you know, because of your note to me)... You can find torrents of all the Schnuffel songs known, and just about all the languages sung (German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Swedish, Finnish, even Russian), and I have all the known CDs I've been able to find (from Germany, Holland, France, Portugal, Hungary, Australia, and the lone US promo)... The CDs are pricey, but not too bad, if you can find them-- Amazon.com has most of the German ones, and the shipping's not so much a killer as it is from Germany. :) In all, some 25 CDs I've found so far, with a Hungarian one being the most recent, and surprisingly, was able to get it through Amazon, instead of the MUCH more expensive route of direct from Hungary. (The US promo of "Snuggle Song" shows up on eBay; the Aussie CD of the same is still commercially available from Australia and does show up on eBay at times...)
Anyhoo... :) I regularly check here about once a week through Search for any Schnuffel-related submissions-- Probably how you found me. ;)

Thank you! So far, I've only checked certain songs available on Youtube. It's hard to find the lyrics so I can pass them through Babelfish.
I fell for Schnuffel because of a particular live concert video (it's all in my recent journal entries). http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/1368954/

Search on Google for "schnuffel songtexte", without the quotes-- Most of the German lyrics are out there-- I know for a fact one page has ALL the German lyrics for the "Ich hab' Dich lieb" CD album; the lyrics for all the songs for "Winterwunderland" and "Komm kuscheln", the second & third CD albums, were published in the CDs' accompanying booklets, therefore they've probably all been posted... I don't know if the Wendler version of "Haeschenparty" has had its lyrics posted or not, and only two others of the German songs are missing its lyrics online, and they were both the b-cuts for the singles "Piep Piep" ("Wenn es regnet") and "Schnuffe's Weihnachtslied" ("Zuckerstyernchen")
A friend of mine (a mouse who runs the small IRC network I'm on) introduced me to Schnuffel back in August '08.... It was the German version of "Kuschel Song" on YouTube.... With a bit of searching, I'm 25 CDs, one plushie, one calendar, one magazine and one poster richer, and about $600 poorer over the last one and a half years... :) (The pics in my scraps have not been updated in quite a while, as you can tell...)

I was 20! :D
This afternoon I installed utorrent and managed to download almost every Schnuffel song I wanted, except for Zuckersternchen (that one is hard to find). So far my favorite song is Du Bist Wie Heiße Schokolade. If you check my gallery, you'll easily understand why. I love to hear Schnuffel compare his love to all sorts of fattening treats!

Hehehehe.... :) One of the tracks from "Winterwunderland"... :) (Good album, but the weakest of the three...) For me, my 25th Scnuffel CD arrived today- the Hungarian version of the "Komm kuscheln" album (artist: "Snufi"). :) (Yes, my Schnuffel obsession does extend to the other translations, and not all are listed as from "Schnuffel"... :) )

I don't have a favorite album yet, just starting to familiarize myself with the songs, and some stand out more than the others.
Something weird happened yesterday though. I was listening to track 8 of Winterwunderland (Mein Schonstes Geschenk) and thought it sounded pretty sad. I was curious so I looked up the lyrics of track 8, but of the wrong album (Ich Hab' Dich Lieb, song: Wo Bist Du Hingegangen) and the sad lyrics went so well with the music, I cried. I still think they go together better than with their real songs. The music of Mein Schonstes Geschenk is too sad for the lyrics, and the music of Wo Bist Du Hingegangen has too much beat for its sad lyrics.
Snufi, heh heh. Have you checked if most dubbed versions tend to follow the original lyrics closely?

Not closely in most cases, although the Dutch version of "Kuschel Song" ("Snuffie Song" by Snuffie Bunny-- A commonality with the versions of Schnuffel in different languages is that the name is not the same across languages, such as the French, "Lapin câlin") is VERY close to the German version, since they're closely-related languages. In most cases, however, the idea behind the original German version is carried over to the multilingual versions, if not the actual lyrics, althouth the English version of "Piep Piep" ("Beep Beep") is VERY different from the original German. (The Hungarian version, "Bim-Bam" has the CUTEST giggle of any yet! If it isn't obvious yet, I should add, that although Schnuffel is a boy bunny, almost ALL the music is sung by girls, then further pitched up! ;) )

It's noticable to varying degrees over all the Schnuffel recordings, in all languages, and by the various intonations, they're all girls between 11-13. While the music is sung by all girls, the audiostory CDs (German only) have Schnuffel played by a male cartoon voice actor.
(Young boys tend to sing flat, while girls tend to have more character to them, and often better range. The WORST of the Schnuffel voices is that for the Finnish version of "Kuschel Song", "Hulilau".. The BEST, same song- Dutch version. The french, English and German versions, at least early on, were sung probably by the same person. Two years on, there have been at least 3 German voices for Schnuffel and as far as I know, two for the English and Hungarian versions. The hardest to make out, because of TOO MUCH processing, is the Portuguese version.)

I wish I knew, honestly-- Considering how disasterous the sales for "Piep Piep" were (peaked at #54 on the German charts- The worst showing of the 5 singles so far! The other 4 were at least Top-20...), I think plans to make "Nur mit Dir" the next single were scuttled... There has literally been NOTHING happening on the official German website (www.schnuffelwelt.de) since November, and no new CD release of any kind in Germany since the February release of the 4th audiostory disc, just after a boxset of the first three-- And I regularly check for upcoming releases at Amazon.de, the German Amazon site.

Yeah, they could've done much more... :( And I do think it was the Schnuffel overload in Germany that killed the phenomenon's popularity-- Jamba was marketing the hel.l out of the ringtones, and so the backlash was inevitable... And yes, "Piep Piep" is certainly the best Schnuffel song since "Kuschel Song"- Perhaps as good, if not better. :) The album "Komm Kuscheln" from which it came is, I think, even better than the first album ("Ich hab' Dich lieb"), in spite the fact at least 4-5 of the songs are obviously aimed at kids-- the rest of the album is far more sophisticated, musically, than either of the previous albums.
Oh, well- Was fun while it lasted. :)
