Heh. My inking isn't that good as well... mainly because my lines are all one size, never any difference in line sizes.

i can't ever get them to look smooth, they always turn out lumpy and distort the pic

Mine normally seem okay other than the width of the line issue... however my coloring skills are... flat... to say the least. What program do you use for attempted inkings?

That's what I use too. The only reason my colorings are flat is because I haven't learned how to give them Shadings and such.
