Fratricide IX - Tender tears
Bothan almost fell unconscious due to Daji's strangulation. While her vision goes black, her thought goes through several reminds.For Bothan, it was the end, as she sees her life scrolling in her mind.
But... she was able to breath again. What happened exactly? Opening her eyes, and watching at her twin, Bothan couldn't help but to feel ill-at-ease.
- So... you finally were able to do it, sis... At least was I able to teach you this final lesson...
Scrolling down her eyes, Bothan finally noticed the rapier which pierced her twin's chest.
Daji was defeated, but this was a bitter victory for the arctic vixen..
- This was an important lesson, Bothan. I'm proud that you finally understand that - for an important goal - you need to overdo yourself and sometime makes sacrifices, for a noble cause.
Daji then began to stagger on her feet. Bothan was too scared about what she has done to make a single move.
Bothan then understood that Daji never attended to kill her or she would have done it from the very beginning, but to teach her to be determinate to an higher level. To the cost of her own life...

She looks like she's found that inner calm and peace that some find as their dying. That sort of acceptance. Overall a very beautiful show of her being happy and proud of and for Bothan, especially since she's probably in lots of pain and bleeding both externally and internally.
I expected something tragic but couldn't fathom it would be something like this. You are a magnificent weaver of words, Amiral. I'm curious how you would describe the story behind the meeting of Yuri and Bothan in the commission. Not often do I wonder what an artist thinks when creating a piece.
