indeed. however In Germany in ww1 they had a shortage of men in the medical field in the war and woman picked up the peace's, my great great grandmother was a German Battlefield medic on the western front at the Somme then Verdun, her job was to go into nomads land and grab the dying and wounded.
thank you, she passed in her sleep in 2003, she had one husband and never wed after, i will tell you what she told me.
