Of course the Unitary fleet needed ridiculously oversized ships to conquer the galaxy with like all good galactic empires. So here are some of the UCR's behemoth ships, all of which dwarf the UCR's mainline battleship which itself was already a very large ship, coming in around 3.4 km long. Sure they may be impractical and a large waste of resources and manpower but you can't deny that these behemoths are incredibly powerful ships and just overall awesome.
-Behemoth Class Dreadnought: Among the largest vessel classes the UCR has ever commissioned, the Behemoth lives up to its namesake as its enormous size and overwhelming firepower can subjugate not just solar systems but entire subsectors through mere presence alone. It's armament is equally massive as its size, consisting of thousands of lazer cannons, hundreds of broadside batteries, 3 massive energy cannons and its most feared weapons, a underbelly weapon that unleashes a energy beam that can literally crack a planet in two. This also doesn't take into account the enormous amount of fighter squadrons, several corvettes, and even 4 Wyvern Class Cruisers it can house in its hangers. Yet while these "behemoths" are the symbols of Unitary might and power, they're also predictably incredibly expensive, requiring an entire planets worth of resources to construct and needing almost a million to properly crew.
-Leviathan Class Dreadnought: Designed as a budget substitute to the Behemoth Class Dreadnought, the Leviathan is often said to be the Behemoth's smaller weaker cousin. Despite boasting less armaments than its larger cousin, the Leviathan is still a very formidable battleship and can easily solo entire fleets on its own. In place of the planet cracking weapon is a massive energy cannon specifically designed to bombard a planets surface, being able to annihilate entire regions in one shot. The Leviathan also contains thousands of lazer and broadside cannons which is expected for a ship of its size and role.
-Charon Class Battle-Freighter: The Charon is a unique vessel being the combination of a battleship and a freighter barge, designed around the concept of transporting cargo while being able to engage an entire fleet by itself. These ships are not only able to transport enough armies to conquer an entire system but to also be able to defend itself against almost any threats. Charons carry enough firepower and fighters to deter any fleets foolish enough to pick a fight with it. However, it is not uncommon to see Charons guarded by an escort fleet that would be normally escorting much much smaller yet defenseless transport ships.
-Ragnarok Class Battleship: Probably one of the more mysterious and rarer Unitary Navy ships, the Ragnarok is basically a mobile and heavily armored superweapon as its main armament is basically a black hole cannon. When fired, the cannon emits a beam of energy which forms a miniature blackhole at the target location. Once formed, the black hole that slowly grows larger as time passes on until the cannon "retracts" the black hole. Despite its potentially devastating potential, the Ragnarok's black hole cannon also poses catastrophic consequences if misused or damaged during use. Combined with the fact that the black hole cannon uses ancient and barely understood alien technology, limits on the incredibly rare resources to construct said cannon, and the political and scientific debate over the use of said cannon leaves the UCR with only dozen Ragnarok ships in existence. Possibly for the better of the entire galaxy.
