It's not as bad as being organic: Imagine not being able to get spare parts; no operator's manual; your documentation is incomplete or missing; the platform is not designed with any sort of maintenance access in mind - to access one system you often must dismantle another, meaning most malfunctions simply aren't fixable, and they accumulate so you are obligated to continue operating in increasingly sub-optimal conditions; in 50 years you're obsolete; most units go permanently offline within 90 years. It's an engineering fiasco, yet for some reason THEY STILL KEEP ON PRODUCING MORE OF THESE SHODDY UNITS

yeah... now... think the same, but the documentation you have ... is misleading/wrong documentation, or documentation for the wrong version of yourself... and no way to heal from the daily wear and tear, with spare parts needed oy for big thinga but also for the small and ordinary things... being made obsolete in 5 years, offline at 9 at most. Also, people can get ahold of your overrides and give you orders you cannot avoid to comply. Also... forced updates... and if, by chance, you get an update at the wrong moment and you are forced to shut down you could die or cause others to die... and that is when the update goes allright. Because what makes you... you... could be wiped away ... while that happened.
