Finally got out and enjoyed a decent weekend of weather, Which screamed "Lets go shooting!!"

novaroo and a couple others to Deerfield range. I had a hankering to pound rounds downrange with my Finnish Suomi M31 (altered to Semi only) in 9MM.
Thats a 71 round drum there I'm cupping in my hand, Though I prefer the 36 round stick magazine.
This weapon was what the Soviets copied and made the PPSh-41, The Finn's used this weapon effectively against the Soviet aggression in the winter of 1939. This weapon is a heavy hunk of metal. I named it 'Sika', Finnish for 'Pig'.
Not the most accurate weapon I've fired, but fun none the less.

Thanks for the invite, it was certainly fun. Coworker had a blast and my ruger didn't jam up nearly as much. funny, I haven't logged in all day but when I do this was on the front page. Also there has to be some sort of joke involving a full grown man cupping a gun's drum, I just haven't figured it out yet.
I have a Finnish Nagant M39 and several captured Soviet Nagants marked SA as well.
My rarest is a 1898 Krag Jorgenson carbine, of 5000 made, only less that 20 are known to exist, another is an Albanian SKS, of 6000 made, maybe less than 200 are in the US, the rest scrapped in Albania.
Still trying to locate a M39 bayonet for my Nagant.
