Another year, another Art Fight, a sort of free-for-all art-trade with a two-team gimmick to keep things interesting. This year I'm part of team Spice, attacking team Sugar by drawing them images. And here's one of them!

For some context, Larry (the guy) is actually a villain and Maggie the heroine who thwarts him. She even has a magic looking staff and everything! With that context, my comment on artfight might make more sense: "Half the time when I draw stuff, I start out with some silly joke and just go from there. In this case it was "with magical weapons come magical outfits!" Let's face it, there are few outfits more recognizable than this one. Maggie might not entirely approve of magic's choice of attire, though. Then I realised that the picture really needed a bit more, so Tuxedo-Larry got added. But now the whole thing no longer made any sense. After all: Larry's the bad guy. Why would he be dressed like the good guy. "Cosplay!" my brain, thought, closely followed by "Maggie probably just realised that short skirts are short, if you know what I mean..." And now I can't unsee it! Sorry about that ^^;"
