Li'l Fjiriririr's pawswipe at the crystal leads to some infatuation of Nina with Fjir, like Malefor had over Cynder, playing off the card that they're both the offspring of Cynder/Malefor representatively. Fjirjirjirjir grudges on Ash, and decides to get some childish revenge on Ash for being mean to him by instigating some jealousy or conflict between Nina and him and then parents get involved, blood is shed, blah blah blah.

Reading this, a thought popped into my head.

I wonder if Rapture is seeing the situation unfolding between Ash, Frijir, and Nina, and is being reminded of what happened between him, Malefor, and Zonoya. I mean, yes, there are a few differences, but the situation could turn out the same: Ash loves Nina, Nina falls for Frijir, and Ash is just left behind. Rapture could very well see himself in Ash and wonder if this is all such a good idea in the long run.

I don’t know, it just popped in my head as I was reading XD Great page, by the way! :3 Rapture has great reflexes!

I forsee some adorable awkwardness between Frijir and Nina.
And also, Rapture is one brave fluffball. It takes a certain kind of person to be able to stare in the face of many teeth and claws and come out alive. He and Zonoya definitely have the 'married couple' vibes between each other now. Though Zonoya still wears the pants most the time. XD

i found the difference between panels 5 and 6 to be VERY interesting... it looks like nona grew several years in a few moments there... but it might just be the expression change.

her muzzle all of a sudden looks more pointed the same way older zonoya has a longer muzzle than the hatchie version did

Rapture and Zonoya smart thinking just act like nothing happening, you ain't see nothing. Seriously I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry.

FInally Nina says what she should, and what Ash needs to get in his little head.... though poor Ash too, he doesn't see yet that he doesn't need to be so protective. It must be hard at his age to properly express what he wants to Nina... poor little guys, all this fighting and even pawswipes from Zonoya, just from a misunderstanding.... cripes.
