Super experimental fanart of Gabriel here. It's been... 2 years, I think, since the last time I drew him. The improvement is incredibly satisfying to see. I'm really getting comfortable with humanoid drawing, it's very nice. But anyway, I was kinda just messing around with this, letting myself do whatever. I had music blasting, I was streaming to my friends on Discord, I wasn't worried about making this look a certain way.. I'm really, really starting to branch out in my art lately and I can't even describe how good that feels. This style is not something I would've considered doing even just at the beginning of this year. For all the headaches and paranoia, quarantine has at least pushed me to expand my artistic field of view, in both drawing and writing, so I guess I'm thankful for that.
