While it does look absolutely fine, you're probably feeling weird about it because it's not "OMG perfectly round!" That was honestly my first reaction- "It's not.. ROUND. Wtf?"
But the more I look it over the more I like it. Because it ISN'T perfectly round it shows you that you can truly create unique pieces in that no two will ever be the same. It also goes to show that man cannot truly have control over nature. X3
Anyway, that's my two cents worth. I think it's awesome! :)
