The engineered super-soldier X-dog 'Einen 8' from DOGS of MARS.
He likes sports, classical music, the colour blue, and not wearing clothes properly apparently.

Without sounding objectifying or too crude(out of respect). I am a forward person, who is not afraid of sexuality and feels both that and mental health are sadly swept under the rug and not given the light they deserve. With that being said. I love your characters. They have form, structure and are a bit curvy. I enjoy that, not all men are boxy and I can not stress that enough to artists. Ones who act like they never saw a guy with a shape. That aside I love pecs and your pec style is so unique. I mean the entire body structure is amazing. I would guess a bit of yourself is in the characters or at least a personality you are attracted too. I say this because I draw confidence in body, self and sexuality. Things that I people should feel inside and never give up on themselves. I see a similar thing in your characters. Yes: they are clearly aesthetically pleasing, strong looking and yet I see vulnerability in some. There is so much more. Past the superficial and into the character, modesty, sadness and or confidence.
Forgive the length of my comment and the re-posted edit(my typing was off). I was recently feeling down about my style and looked at your art and though, what if they sometimes feel this way. I try to remember we as artist no matter what level, should not be depraved of praise, kindness or comments(even critical) for their work. When I leave a comment, I simply just want the artists to know, I see the work.
Thank you for your time.
I draw anatomy my own way. It's exaggerated, but couched in reality. I just observe what bodybuilders and athletes look like today, which is very different from 50 years ago, or even 25 years ago. Techniques, training and nutrition have all adjusted to squeeze the 'best' out of the human body... at least regards creating record breaking athletes. At some point art exaggeration can become grotesque - this is in the eye of the beholder. I have my lines I do not cross, other people have theirs.
Anyway, the ultimate point I'm making is, since the X-dogs and Howlers are super-soldiers, they had best look the part. I mix in a bit of the beast too. Dogs and wolves generally have deep chests, thick necks and narrow waists, so that's what we get rather than the broad, flat, male human shape.
That said, this was a quick picture and there are all sorts of issues and weaknesses. I am not convinced by his hand nor the folds of his vest - most likely it will be redrawn someday, as long as I can maintain the soul of the original.
