I wonder if your character has round pupills or more slit-like ones like in cats. I assume the oval shape comes from your overall style, doesn't it?

Yes, he has round regular pupils, and I draw ovals because this is my style

Good to know. My graphon got vertical pupils because it is beneficial for seeing in light and dark plus he cannot sense any colour. In the story a girl accompanying him is like "Oh, look. What colour fits me better?" and he is just looking back with no emotions because he does not comprehend.

It is just in favour for stalking at darkness. And of course for the sake of beeing even less expressive. Although my character has to look quite cute in the dark, when is pupils are widened to the max. Yet another darwing idea which I push for a year or so...

Nice Gryphon here, i really like the design!. Those long ears and toothy beak are some of the features that i like most. :D

What is their lower half by the way?. An Ocelot?.
