Yet another of my lil scifi ideas. Boys and girls meet Temous. He's a young boy from a human subspecies called the huvan. Huvan defining characteristics are hair in some shade of blue and gold colored eyes. Although the hue of the yes may vary. His people are very similar to humans having evolved from the same ancestor. However Huvans developed quicker then their human cousins. By the time of our early civilizations they were quite technologically advanced and ha already gotten a good start at exploring the solar system. Huvans on this alternate earth tend to live off in isolated area. Many have cities build into or on top of mountains. They try not to interfere with human affairs. They believe that humans should develop on their own. Too much interference from them would be harmful. They do provide some aid to humans though. In cases of pandemic level illness they provide humanitarian aide. Supplies of food and clean water. Some places though are different. Humans and Huvan intermingle in some areas where disasters had left many young humans in Huvan care.

Temous is from one of these outpost. The extra numbers from the humans absorbed into the culture have helped the city to thrive quite well. Temous has several human friends. He's a rather typical young boy. He can be rather shy and submissive. He has a great interest in space. His Mother works in the Space Exploration Administration and he's heard talks about successful FTL test and possible colonization of another world. The necklace and wrist band Temous wears are actually a micro computer that projects holographic displays and controls. The belt is and advanced matter buffer system that can store quite a lot. As you can tell Temous is also diapered. It's not uncommon among male Huvan. Typically they don't toilet train until about 13 or 14 and some just never are trained due to parental influence or their own choice in the matter. This is seen as primarily a boy thing. Even most males that do get trained still wear a diaper of some sort at night.
