Sombra isn’t obliterated! At least, not in my AU. lol
Shadow tyrant boy, enamored with the Mooncurse and its power, afflicted himself with a similar vampire curse. The timeline leading up to his fall isn’t clear to me yet, but here we’ve got a glance at vampire Sombra after his defeat and during his atonement (sentence length: Eternity or until death, whichever comes first).
I’ve opted to darken his coat from my initial headcanon design, as a significant part of his backstory in ZenVerse Equestria is that he and his... She’s less a "handler" and more an “Observing Doctor”, sort of thing. Her name is Lieden; she and Sombra hail from the same settlement in the North, founded by Friesian-type ponies. He’s far older than she is, obviously. But due to his curse being different from the curse that Sekheti carries (Jetstream Mooncurse, which Lieden is familiar with), she was called upon by the Royals to study and keep an eye on the sassy bat-eared vampire while the attempt to reform him is made.
Sombra is not used to not scaring ponies. Getting used to Lieden took a while. Girl never let down her guard but she was very firm that he didn’t frighten her. Made her wary, yes. But after getting used to Sekheti, vamponies just are part of her life now and that includes this Umbracursed ex-king. Speaking of the Marwari-eared unicorn, there was one point where he actually kicked Sombra’s back leg out from under the larger unicorn, just to say, “She really is not fearing of you. Nor me. So this posturing, you can stop now.” Oh Sombra was offended! xD This smaller stallion just KICKED him! How dare!
