Башни это визитная карточка старинных сел на Северном Кавказе. Строились до 17 века, до переселения горцев на плодородные земли предкавказской равнины и в долины. Каждая башня принадлежала отдельному роду. В них жили, а при нападениях врага - оборонялись, с них следили за подступами к селению и дорогами в ущельях.
