As Samev’Annali was sleeping peacefully in her bed, she was suddenly awakened when she heard a mysterious creaking noise coming from outside her bedroom door.

Samev’Annali: Huh? WuH? Who’s there?

She then looked at her digital clock and saw that it was already 12:30 am.

Samev’Annali: Ugh TAG is that you?… You better not be making off brand wine in the sink again.

Samev’Annali gets out of bed, walks out of her room and flips on a light switch, only to notice that the lights weren’t working. She tried turning them on with the other light switches, but nothing happened and it was still dark.

Samev’Annali: Oh great, a power outage.

Samev’Annali then takes out a flash light and turns it on, only to then feel a sudden gust of wind brush by her neck, along with hearing the sound of footsteps quickly passing by her.

Samev’Annali: AHHH!!!…………….. H-Hello?…….. TAG?…… Seriously is that you?…….. Please don’t jump out and scare me. It’s really late and I am SO not in the mood to deal with your-…. Oh.

When Samev’Annali pointed her flash light at the end of the hallway, she saw her father, Sam standing there with his back turned against her.

Samev’Annali: Oh Papa it’s just you. Phew! You had me scared there for a second..… Is Johnny having trouble sleeping again?

Samev’Annali was relieved to see her father, only to then notice something was “Off” about him.

Samev’Annali: Papa?……. Are you okay?…… Why are you just standing there? Is something wrong?

Samev’Annali slowly walked over to her father while reaching her hand out to him, only to be suddenly shocked in horror when he turned around and revealed that his mouth was sewn completely shut.

Samev’Annali: OH MY GOD!!!..… Papa?!…. What happened?!... W-What happened to your mouth?! Who did this to you?!

Samev’Annali continued asking her father questions, while she grabbed his arms and shook them ferociously, but all Sam did was stand completely still while staring at his daughter with tears running down his face.

Samev’Annali: Papa why are you just standing there, staring at me? What’s going on? What’s happe-….ning?

Suddenly the floor below them began to turn into thick black ooze that was slowing pulling Samev’Annali deeper and deeper into it, but not Sam for some reason.

Samev’Annali: No! NO! Wha-What is this? What’s going on? Papa! Papa Help Me! I’m Sinking!

Samev’Annali reached her hand out to her father for help, but Sam just stood there and looked at his daughter with fear in his eyes. It was as if some kind of unknowable force was preventing him from moving a single muscle.

Samev’Annali: Papa Please! Grab My Hand!

As Samev’Annali continued sinking into the black ooze, the house, along with everything else around them disappeared and turned into a vast black void of sheer-nothingness…

Then out of the darkness came a giant, monstrous hand (made entirely of shadow) that slowly moved itself towards Sam from behind.

Samev’Annali: Papa! Look Out Behind You! Run! Run Away! RUN AWAY!!!

Samev’Annali tried desperately to warn her father about the giant hand that was slowly approaching behind him, but all Sam did was stand there helplessly as he was suddenly snatched away by the hand.

Samev’Annali: NOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once Sam was in the clutches of the hand, it picked him up and then slowly pulled him into the darkness where it came from.

Samev’Annali: “NO! Please! Don’t Take Him! Please Don’t Take Him! Don’t Take Him! DON’T TAKE HIM!”

Samev’Annali wanted to save her father, but was too helpless to do anything except continue sinking deeper into the black ooze until only her head and right hand were visible.

Samev’Annali: “Please Don’t Take Him! Don’t Take Him! DON’T TAKE HIM!”

As the black ooze was pouring into her mouth and drowning out her screams, Samev’Annali witnessed in horror as a pair of giant, menacing, red glowing eyes opened themselves up and stared directly down at her from the black void…

Everything suddenly cuts to black and then-

Samev’Annali: PAPA!!!

Samev’Annali wakes up and finds herself back in her own bedroom with tears pouring down her face and her body completely drenched in her own sweat.

Sam: Sweetie are you okay? I heard you scream. What happened? Is something wrong?

We then see Sam coming into Samev’Annali’s room to check and see if she was alright.

Samev’Annali: Papa? Papa!

As soon as she saw her father again, Samev’Annali quickly jumped out of bed and wrapped her arms tightly around his waist.

Samev’Annali: Oh Thank Goodness Papa. You’re Still Here….. And You’re Alive.

Sam: Yes sweetie I am. Don’t you worry, I’m here. Daddy’s Here… Daddy’s Here.

Sam comforted Samev’Annali by hugging her tightly, while rubbing her back with his right hand.

Sam: So what happened? Why are you crying?

Samev’Annali: Oh Papa it was awful, you’re mouth was sewn shut, and the house fell apart, and you couldn’t move, and you were being pulled into a void of darkness by a giant evil hand! And I couldn’t do anything to save you. I-It was… It was-.

Sam: Hey hey it’s okay honey. You were just having a bad dream. It happens to everyone. You’re alright now. You’re safe.

After a few more minutes of Sam comforting his daughter, Samev’Annali was able to calm down and wipe the tears off her face.

Sam: I’m so sorry that you went through that sweetie. Nightmares are no fun. But you’re okay now right?

Samev’Annali: Yeah I think so.

Sam: Would you like to sleep with me and Mama Heather tonight?

Samev’Annali simply smiled and nodded her head in response.

Sam: Okay then.

Sam then picked up his daughter and carried her into the bedroom, where Heather was still sleeping.

Sam: (Whispering) Oop… Be sure to stay quiet.

Samev’Annali: (Whispering) Got it.

Sam gave Samev’Annali a full glass of water and after she drank it, he then tucked her into his side of the bed and then snuggled himself right next to her.

Sam: Comfy?

Samev’Annali: Mhm.

Sam: Alright then. Sweet dreams sweetie. I Love You.

Samev’Annali: Love You too.

Samev’Annali still felt a little uneasy due to her never having a nightmare that intense before. She wanted to tell her father, but was way too tired to do so at the moment, so instead she snuggled up next to him, rested her head on his chest, closed her eyes and went to sleep.

As they both drifted off to sleep together, we then see a little black bird with bright white eyes staring at them from outside the bedroom window.
