While Crash 2 is not a bad game it's not one I'm very fond of, something about the level gimmicks and new game mechanics just doesn't sit right with me, I can't stand Nitro crates and I think they're a lazy add on. The story is also a bit contrived and it also introduced my least favorite character Coco, I don't mind her but she's a by product of the prude of marketing at Universal at the time and wasn't a character made with genuine purpose rather one of strict demand from the higher ups, plus she shafted Tawna and wasn't a viable replacement in my opinion, that's why despite being super intelligent they never do anything with it, that was meant to be Tawna's role.
Also the amount of Coco porn out there is disgusting, she's a child, I don't care if they never confirmed her age, if we can look at Tawna and say she's an adult then Coco is clearly a child or at the very least pre-teen, y'all motherfuckers trying to dodge around that age question by saying "it's just a drawing" need to stop, you know it's wrong stop acting like it isn't and these things don't matter.

I mean the game's not that bad, less hard than the first which might be better imo? But Nitro Crates are pretty freaking cheap, yeah. It's just another hazard that can instantly kill Crash, like the games didn't have enough of those already.
I always saw Coco as another side character, a helping hand who sometimes needs help herself but she's not another Damsel you need to save. But technically I'd classify her as a Deuteragonist, since she does become playable at some points throughout the rest of the series after her introduction. It's really a shame that this is who they replaced Tawna for.
