I chose an animal based on what others think of me. It prevents me from picking the generic wolf/deer/lion/eagle spirit animals that show how free spirited and wild I am. I have accepted my lot in life. :)
I also have an entire gallery folder for Asks, so go there if you want to see what has been asked.

Only because they don't understand dogs! Any dog can be a "mean" dog if mistreated.
But pitties are one of the most loving and cute pups! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EdNkXHwqaxI case and point.

It's true! I'm so tired of hearing about how certain breeds are amazing and others aren't.
I grew up with two corgis; one had angry mood swings and the other was playful but anxious. Then I go online and see people talk about how they are the best dogs in the world ( because they make good instagram models.)

I lived with six or seven Corgis over the years. My handsome tricolor male was as dumb as a box of rocks and afraid of his own shadow. He loved kids and meeting new people, though. My two female Corgis spent far too much time tearing each other up -- a problem I never had with those "Aggressive Australian Cattle Dogs."
My neighbor's stepdaughter lived next door to me for a year or so. She acquired a pit bull puppy a few months younger than my All-American Thoroughbred. He was a nice little pup, but the lady moved away for a year. When she moved back into the house, the dog greeted me like a long lost friend. We're still buddies.
