I know August is almost over, but me and a friend are doing a Smaugust art challenge. One of the themes I was given was "Vascular." That word can mean two different things, but I naturally went with the plant-based one. So that's why he looks like a plant dragon, covered with angiosperms, ferns and wood. I didn't include any moss or algae for this reason, even as much as I wanted to. I'm not a very creative person as I tend to draw my dragons a bit accurate to life sciences, but drawing and colouring this sketch was fun to do nonetheless.

Oh, and if you look closely at his horns, you can see that they're translucent and filled with chlorophyll :D That's how I believe he gathers the required ATP to function
