So.... it’s been a while.... 😂
With everything going on recently, lockdown, furloughed for 3 months, then straight back into a hell hole of working in catering (I enjoy it really 👩🏻🍳) but it leaves little time for artwork, I’ve been thinking about my art side a lot more. I’ve tried making a little side career out of my artwork, and thus been way too serious about the work I produce. I used to draw everyday. Sure it wasn’t great stuff, but at least I doodled and was part of an art community. I want to get back to that and just be less serious about my art in general, have fun with it! .... and also finish off art that has been left untouched for.... months 😂
So, that brings us to this piece! My very first DnD character, an aaracockra by the name of Klua. Literally played as a silly bird who’s only true desire is to find shiny things.
I tried looking up a couple tutorials on feathers so this was a huge practice piece of different styles. It’s still a little sketchy in places, but I didn’t really want to put too much time into it lol
