I had the idea of a blind kobold... and I thought, why not have his horns over grown to cover his eyes from mistreatment in slavery? But then I thought, what if he CAN see through Divine intervention? Being a Cleric, he is blessed by his holy god to see things but not through his eyes. He can see the magical field around all living creatures, he can see the power of others, he can see the SOUL of others. His sight is beyond the physical bindings of his chains, his restraints that have kept him held down his whole life!
