4 of Cups, or 'Luxury' is the card of meditation and contemplation, apathy, leisure, and reevaluation. Reversed, it symbolizes retreat and withdrawal. Big Macintosh is a pony with what one might call an active inner life, prone to shyness and introversion. He's a deep thinker, but that can sometimes lead to him being isolated.

Here he is in contemplation, uncaring of the outstretched hoof offering him a mug of cider. Three more mugs sit before him, but he seems to care no more for them than he does this new one. He is not interested in joining in with the party.
