Knuckles and Espio are copyright and trademarked by SEGA.
It looks like Knuckles wants to give Espio an example to show the strength of his foot. Knuckles was only trying to give a light stomp on Espio, but it looks like their previous match already took a lot out of him. Yep, that move was definitely a "KO!" Was Espio still winded from the earlier match to fight back or did he secretly want Knuckles to stomp him? Well, Espio won't be able to verify either way for a while. Knuckles may need to rest as well but can't just leave his friend unconscious in the dojo. Knuckles does a fantastic job guarding the Master Emerald, I'm sure he can guard and protect Espio until he wakes up. Espio's face does make a good foot rest for Knuckles.
I'm still wondering how this would've looked with health bars.
