In the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series, the player (almost) always has to disappear after saving the Pokemon world. In this timeline, after establishing peace, the hero disappeared without a trace. However, one day, the player returned to the Pokemon world. But, what they felt was only a few hours since they disappeared, decades had gone by.

After learning of the reality they found themselves in, the player fled to their favorite resting spot overlooking a changed world, one no longer at peace. With their partner nowhere to be found and a looming threat on the rise once more, countless questions arose... many without answers. Despite the confusion, the player actively sought out their old friend, believing they were out there... somewhere... actively attempting to calm the chaos.

"It's raining somewhere else... isn't it? ... old friend." thought the player as they collected their thoughts upon the hilltop.

Unbeknownst to the player, their friend made the same remark long ago ......... but, with a more hostile viewpoint... o.O

That's right! The new member of the slowly growing cast is a Shinx. This pokemon has a special place in my heart! While this piece is another step away from my usual light-hearted artwork, in contrast to the last piece, this one was an experiment with the environment with no lineart... but... also on perspective.
