Probably going to color a couple of these sometime in the next 30 days.
Working on a guide to Squees and Squee Helbusters. Pointing out where they differ from humans / mimiga / yoshi / ponies / etc. Explaining some of the mechanics behind their quirky balloon-affinity lifestyle and culture.
The idea in short: they're typically about 2-3 times the size of a human and produce and store hydrogen throughout the body. The overall distribution of which creates a slight lifting effect which reduces their effective weight and makes them somewhat easier to push around. But they prefer to replace that gas with Helium (because it's much safer. They don't deal well with fire.) or air (because there is a lot of it, and it makes them heavier). The scarcity of Helium, their natural tendency towards expansion and hoarding, limited space on their homeland island, and particular sensitivity to climate conditions drives them to mingle with other cultures, develop tech, and evolve their way of life to keep surviving.
But the more important reason I wanted to write a guide: Establishing some visual rules on how they are generally to be illustrated, since describing them as "inflatable cartoon rabbits" or "Basically Yoshi but also MLP but also a cartoonish idea of militarized culture" tends to get a lot of mixed results and criticisms of the design rooted in the real world animals which doesn't quite help refine the intended idea.
Anyway, posting up the sketches now before I forget them or accidentally get food on them or something. When I get some colored, I'll come back with a more polished guide. Probably.

* Rest Position -> Legs Spread at least one head height [width].
* Hips / Torso ALWAYS wider (and larger) than the head.
* Prefer Arms with wide shoulders tapering to thin, shallow hands. (Pikachu, Bowling Pin style)
* Always Blushing
