The night is a time of slumber for most ponies, but for the musically-inclined Midnight Measure, the quietness of a slumbering town makes for wonderfully-calming walks. Trotting with the deftness of a cat from rooftop to rooftop, the bat pony imagines music in every hoofstep or flap of his wings, the chilly night air keeping his thoughts alert, fixated on the crescendo of the imagined song. That is, until his jaunt attracts the attention of a passerby below. Not wishing to alarm another night traveler, Midnight offers a smile; though, perhaps such a moonlit grin appears more sinister than sincere...
