Anastasia flew down the staircase and into the courtyard in a flash, eager to see her long-time friend. She saw him waiting in at the pagoda, the moonlight shining down perfectly. It had been years since she had last seen him; just before he left on one of his wondrous adventures. She paused, only for a moment to compose herself before making her approach.
"Smarty!" She exclaimed. "It's good to see you again."
"It's always pleasant to see you again, Princess." The blue bear replied, bowing before her.
"You know full well that you don't need to do that," chuckled Anastasia.
"Nonsense."
"Do you plan on telling me about your journey?"
"Of course."
Smarty sat on the encircling bench of the pagoda, Anastasia teasingly sitting on his lap.
"Now, tell me everything."
