Just a mandatory "I'm not dead" post, but also a bit of a plug as well.
This is my F-14B texture in DCS. The names on the canopy, for those wondering, are:
Pilot: LT Dakara "Slick" Noveris
RIO: LTJG Arcten "Headcase" Talematros (owned by @Wigran)
If you'd like the texture, you can download it here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ja86EifqdNR2C-6GgIBE1_rpUSYMKpxH/view?usp=sharing
Now for the plug. As some of you know, I've been flying with a group that used to be affiliated with Grim Reapers, and we have been running our own campaign lately on the Persian Gulf Map (where this pic was taken). We are also starting a new Campaign on the side we're calling "The Balkans Campaign", which takes place in the Balkans region, but we're using the Caucuses map. This decision was made for two reasons:
1. It's a map everyone has, along with the Su-25T which is being used by BluFor this operation. (in short, it's a new player friendly campaign).
and
2. certain parts of the map do resemble the Balkans region, so it won't break the emersion much.
If you want more details, then feel free to read up on the campaign details here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/11ThYFDFifsNsJfpoyvw8Ygl2XET0eInXA0DqKRvm7Wc/edit
If all of this sounds interesting to you, and you'd like to join our campaigns, or just join the discord, then here's the discord link: https://discord.gg/teMTrFn
The Persian Gulf missions are on Sundays at 11:00AM US Eastern Standard Time
The Balkans Campaign Missions will be Saturdays at 11:00AM US Eastern Standard Time (subject to change)
Hope to see some fresh faces... and given how many of my fans are furs... please don't shed on the furniture.
If you do not have DCS, but wish to get into it, Eagle Dynamics have prepared a video just for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=732Y62VZIGc
It is free to try, so you lose nothing but HDD Space and time for trying it out. It's available on both their own site, or on Steam. I highly recommend getting the Steam version, as the download appears more stable.
See you all in the skies.
Tank out.
