What to say about Arendi? When he first grabbed my attention, he made it known that he lived in Tabari's home city, though until recently as a child of the streets. "Blessed" with oracular powers of divine magic, a limited ability to know the future, and a similarly limited ability to forge agreements with others, he has taken his gifts and used them as best he can to get by. There are always a few folks who wish to know the future, of course, but the associated Nondisclosure Agreement that usually comes with that knowledge can be off-putting. After all, many who seek future knowledge want to exploit it, no? So it often falls on him to undertake the mystical ritual of dumpster diving to make ends meet. He is accompanied in this by a reluctant guardian spirit, a demon sent by the young boy's devil parent to ensure he doesn't come to any real harm until his destiny has been fulfilled. For his part, Hal has grown frustratingly attached to Arendi and actually takes proper care of him, degrading as it is for a demon of his caliber...
Their adventures in mystical desert lands are going to be something to behold, no doubt! Arendi has already started making some powerful friends~

When I first saw this cute boi, it took an act of will not to immediately snap him up! Being best friends with an adopt artist means having the responsibility to let other people have a chance at the adopts, after all. XD
But after a while, I knew that he was determined to stay with me, so I went ahead and stole him, and never looked back. No regerts!
Really though, he's such an adorable little thing! From those handsome dark colors to those sexy spikes and fins, and with such distinctive markings as well, he's really a treat on the eyes! A little devil, for certain, but his eyes hold mischief more than malice. I'm already in such love with him. <3
