In Anarchy Online (the mmorpg that I played for 7 years) they tried to make the start up quests make a little sense. you start off on a small island that is being over run by critters, so killing a bunch makes Some sense.

but those critters are not made of bacon =^.^=

yeah.. im sad about that. Tauren have to kill the the cutest animals in their starting zone.. boars and tallstriders. I went all that time killing them til lv10, only to tame both as a pet later on. Talk about screwed up..

For sure. I think undead have some of the easiest to kill. Zombies and evil rabies creatures and spiders and such.

See... it only LOOKS cute. The moment you turn your back on it, the cutesy-little boar you thought was too cute to kill has devoloped a taste for FLESH and has your Tauren pinned to the ground while it's busily GNAWING ON YOUR FACE.
