I don't like the new design. I get they wanted her to be more conservative,but this outfit just doesn't say "dark queen" to me. It's more like "general lackey who works for the queen". Like some nameless imperial officer who stands next to Darth Vader and hopes he doesn't kill him. You can say what you want about the Dark Queen's old design,but at least it was memorable.
well, ive seen gameplay footage and cutscenes and while i had the same opinion at first that this was totally unfitting for the dark queen, seeing the context made me revise my opinion.
Considering how deeply weird the game is, with its humor, meta references (including to the age rating) and general zanyness. i must say this design fits the context and the original design one would be seriously out of place in this game. reminds me of the game where Crash bandicoot teamed up with Neo Cortex.
Doesn't make the new design appealing tough

Communism uses morality as a weapon. A puritan has a consistent ideal,that being nothing immoral. They will be against drinking,lewd behavior,smoking,that sort of thing.
A communist will agree to any moral standing as long as it's popular and will use any morality excuse to attack someone. Hence,why they will attack the Dark Queen for having a risque outfit,but have no problem with someone fucking kids so long as they're on the "right side".
