An early prototype command unit, The Wraith is programmed and constructed for maximum efficiency and ruthlessness. Sometimes, things like "ethics" and "morality" get in the way of successful military operations, and such trivial concerns as "collateral damage" and "civilian casualties" don't often factor into The Wraith's decisions and tactics.

Also, his antlers are communications antennae, incorporating a useful function into an otherwise purely aesthetic detail.

While the previous art of Wraith depicts him with a skull mask that looks like it could have been taken from a once-living deer, I decided to design a clearly artificial one for him, and I am much happier with it--the angular aspects of the design make it look that much more "unnatural" and sinister. I may have to take a shot at redesigning his body at some point too, and drawing it without the cloak I usually had him wearing.
