This neat looking creature is just one of many species of skink. He was busy warming himself when I happened by and was quite still, making him the perfect candidate for me. His colors are rather muted but it's part of his natural camouflage, I guess. He's still a pretty little lizard, and I don't know why I'm calling it a "he." It could be a "she" for all I know, but I digress. Enjoy this beautiful creature.
