This is my Ex's song, he wrote it and I've started recording it. I think it's a really beautiful song and have wanted to cover it forever.
I didn't write it but nor did a famous band or anything so I called it an original song for that reason.
It's called "From The Heart" and is originally a heavier sort of rock styled song and mine is clearly an acoustic variation. I hope to finish the whole thing soon but I have been too busy. I recorded this a few weeks ago.
NOTE: Please don't tell me about the reverb. I forgot to reduce it from when i started this (back last year) and this sample no long exists aside from this mp3 so no, I can't change this file, but the future completed file will be a bit less reverby. Comments on reverb WILL be ignored.

Beautiful piece ^^ Now what is this "reverb"? *looks it up* Echos? But it sounds so awesome and beautiful and whatnot ^^ But then again methinks last time you mentioned this you said not all people like it or something like that and my reply to that, it is awesomeness and that I like it -^^-
Yay, new songs, weeeeeeee. This is just epic. I think the reverb is really good. Its a slow song and it supports the 'stretched' songs in the song very well. But tell me, how you manage to hit EVERY note, its like whoa
Btw, the MoL is finished :P, just waiting for awesome vocals.

very pretty.
Man, I totally need to get a mike. I keep waiting to record with my band, but they're taking forever! I even have a keyboard now though. I could totally be writing gorgeous harmonies and begging you to add extra vocals to the tracks. *grin*
Your recordings always inspire me.

I know you say comments about Reverb will be ignored, but read a bit longer...
I don't think for a second that you should reduce the reverb in any way, shape or form. The reverb ads a perfect sense of serenity and an underlying tone of loneliness, just like the song itself seems to portray. It goes amazing with the song itself.

Thank you... I don't actually ignore comments, but I meant I wouldn't respond to any that mentioned it sounds bad, since I am going to go back to this and will try and make it better etc. I always like a floaty/ethereal sorta atmospheric sound to vocals, but a lot of people don't and always say i drown myself out with it, which is fair enough. I need to find a good balance X3 I appreciate your comment though thank you X3 I shall see what I end up deciding for this. I think it suits this song particularly as well. x
I know what you meant, I was just kidding. =P
Anyway, I'm a huge acoustic lover myself. Haven't picked my guitar up in ages though, I need to start again. So trust me when I say I at least know some of what I'm talking about. XD
Still, the reverb is awesome for the piece, and personally, I think you have it set at a great level here. It's not too much as to drown your actual vocals, but at the same time, you don't have it set too low to be noticed. The guitar has an awesome sound as well, and the reverb has the same effect there, giving it a sort of hypnotizing, floating melodic sound I so love to hear in acoustic music.
