Quick suggestion. Should go with Ogham rather than Norse runes on the stone if you want to go with more accurate Gaelic.

No worries. Ogham's often overlooked, despite being much older. Really interesting stuff if you ever get into the ancient Celts or study the Druids.

Fixed it! Thank you, I probably would have never learned about Ogham if not for your comment! It's a very visually interesting writing system, and I'm totally going to have to read up on it.

It's an interesting study. I've studied many of the old cultures, but I absolutely fell in love with the old Celtic cultures. I see them as a sort of hidden gem of the ancient world. They're fascinating, but often their achievements are "stolen" by their neighbors. Like having elected kings, the Norse stealing many of their iconography and claiming it as their own, inventing chainmail armor, etc.

Oh wow, there's quite a bit more to the Celts than I thought going off of what the mainstream sorta historical community seems to focus on! I always enjoyed the renditions of them from various artists, and from what little bits of Celtic culture I've seen it's more than deeply intriguing. I suppose now's as good a time as any to start studying them a bit more deeply!
