Another Artconomy commission~!
Those darn space pirates caught her in the side! >:0 This is the third piece I've done of Serris, and I've gotta say it's by far my favorite. The picture was a little difficult in the early stages; I had to pull open blender to mock up the top-down angle the commissioner wanted, and even then I ended up drawing the gun over completely after the first draft still had it lookin' a bit funny. After that things came a lot more naturally though! Especially the lighting. A blue light off-screen was mentioned in the description, and I've gotta say that was a fantastic call. I *loved* doing the color adjustment at the end of this one~

good thing she was wearing her armor.
One of the options was to put the plate carrier in the scene instead of the shotgun, though I'm now realizing that without that for context, not everyone would realize the implied message that bruises were additional shots she had taken to the armor plates.
Thank you for this Yggi, it turned out so beautifully. Glad I had the blue console off screen to give that duality of color hitting her, and I'm so happy you had fun with this one.
