This just screamed to be written... and in fact I did get a couple of the paragraphs and scenes very clearly in my mind while I was writing the "Naughty Memory" story. That story tells a lot of Celeste's history, and also of how her parents took her sexual preference. It was not the same for Mara, unfortunately... and her history deserved to be told as well. Though not in the "Naughty Memory" story; that one already was way long enough as it was, and the scenes and paragraphs I got in my mind deserved a story of their own.
And here it is! This is an immediate follow-up of the "Naughty Memory" story; it picks up only a few hours later, when Mara and Celeste wake up the next morning. And this story tells more of Mara's history than all previous Mara & Celeste stories combined!

A very nice look into Mara's past to complement what we learned in the last scene. Well don. Succinct and to the point without sounding like a textbook. It's exactly what I was hoping...

rorschfox, me writing short stories to accompany drawings of his girls, and him doing a few drawings to accompany some of the stories about my girls. So if you want to read that story... well, I guess you'll just have to buy the book once it's published

Can't...can't you do more than one story for that beach? More than these two characters must go there, and they all must go there more than once! Surely there are multiple instances that could be scenes featuring that beach. Th-there has to be...or I'll...I'll...

Sorry about that. I had to wipe the TEARS off my keyboard. Now I'm gonna go eat a gallon of ice cream to stave off the CRIPPLING DEPRESSION your antics have caused. Maybe after that I'll watch reruns of SEINFELD and pretend to be amused but I'm actually quite SAD.
That, or I could buy the book when I have money. Are they *glance around, then, in a whisper* naughty stories? Or like, some of 'em at least? Bah, you know what I mean. Also, will you announce the book in more detail later in a journal? Like, where we can purchase it and all that jazz.

Hee hee, I am sorry about that, dear... and well, it is a very popular nude beach, and Mara and Celeste have been visiting it on a rather frequent basis; at least once each summer vacation (much by Celeste's urging though Mara is ever more coming around to it herself). And of course, my free spirit naturist green mousie Minty is no doubt a frequent visitor of that, or at least a similar, nude beach as well, for... several reasons

I might have phrased it a bit better; it is the story of Mara and Celeste visiting that nude beach that is currently in the making, which is not going to be posted on FA as it is written for that book especially. That is not to say there will not be more stories on the subject that will be posted on FA...

Go easy on the ice cream in any way... you might want to save up your money for the book Yes, there will be official announcements once we get closer to completing the project; as of now, there are only very few stories written yet, and all stories I write need to be converted to the proper format and everything. But once there are sufficient stories, announcements will be made to tell that this book will be available for sale at conventions (though mainly the ones outside America; ConFuzzled and EuroFurence being the main ones, as rorschfox lives in England, and I live in the Netherlands), as well as online through Lulu.com where it will be printed
As for the subjects of the stories in the book... they are to accompany the pictures of girls or couples :rorschfox: has drawn, which are all either fully nude, or partially nude, so yes; the stories will be nude but innocent, cheesecake or naughtier

A truly beautiful story there, Zin! And exceptionally powerful in places...
Mara's right, too: who doesn't love that goofball white kitty? I know she's certainly grown on me since I started reading about her!

Thank you, dear, I am really glad you enjoyed the story. And indeed; life is not all milk and honey and sunshine and rainbows, and certain issues are dealt with harder or harsher for some people than they are for others.
Also, as much as I have already done for Celeste to develop her wonderful character and personality, it was really about time I delved a bit more into Mara as well; she deserves it

Thank you, Pete Yes, Mara definitely had much more problems with it than Celeste did... and in a way, that's kinda good, too. I mean, sure, as the writer, I can make sure everything is all happiness and rainbows and milk and honey for all the characters, but that gets old reeeeeally fast And besides, it also made sense, as in just about everything in their lives, Mara is so the opposite of Celeste^^

And yes, that was exactly the main reason why Mara made physically certain that the wacky white cat would not blurt out anything that would shock or upset or scare her parents...
