Not everything was devoid of potential tho. Some of the architecture closer to the centre was preserved in an ok way and even looked decent with modern stuff added to it but still, these r the exceptions. The city has the potential to be a great place where tourism can thrive and history can be preserved, I hope it will be just that in the future.
